Was just excited I got to see a bunch when we drove past an elk preserve near the coast. I was just saying how there were no elk at the elk viewing station then there were a bunch just past it. The were always in between the stations. Guess they didn't want to be viewed Stupid me forgot m camera that day too.
I didn't see an apropriet forum for this but wanted to share.
Fallow and reindeer appear to be the easiest to get a permit for in my state so will likely wind up with reindeer or maybe both. I miss the fallow too.
They have a limit of 16 permits at a time for the whole state for Elk so that seems unlikely
