I accidentally stumbled across this forum tonight and am pleased to find that there are a few people in other areas intersted in Muntjacs.
We are located in deep south Texas, smack in the middle of Whitetail Deer ranching country. We have over 800 commercial whitetail breeders in Texas, as well as several thousand private exotic breeders. Unfortunately most of the Munties for sale in Tx. are on a hunt-only basis, with only a couple of pet breeders like myself.
I run a moderate-sized goat dairy and supply fresh and frozen milk to deer breeders, and hold a TP&W permit for rehabilitating whitetail fawns. My DH and I are owned by a motley crew of dairy goats, fallow, sika, barasingha and muntjacs. Yes, we love our deerie family, even through the yearly rut.
I see that there is supposed to be a number of articles with this forum but can't seem to find a button or link for them. Can anyone help. please? |
